FAQs
Q: What if I am not 'there' yet in terms of my personal life or my daily prayer and Bible study?
A: You might be happy to know that there is not ONE perfect member in our church! The list above might be seen as goals - not requirements. You will not be tested at the end of your first year :)
Q: My work schedule might prevent me from being faithful to every service. Will I be kicked out if I miss a Sunday?
A: Of course not. Your deacon will likely call to make sure everything is ok, but you will not be dismissed from the congregation.
Q: What are 'tithes'?
A: The Bible defines a 'tithe' as 1/10th of your gross income. Scripture commands everyone (not only followers of Christ) to give back this portion of our income to God. The Bible even designates the house of God as the place where tithes should be brought. This is one of the most misunderstood aspects of Christian living - but God has promised to supply our needs AND reward us in abundance for being obedient to Him. Tithing is the scriptural method of supporting the church and its ministries. Most of our members give an 'offering' in addition to the 10% tithe. There are some amazing and wonderful stories in our congregation about God supplying the needs of those who have been faithful in the area of finances.
Q: What does King's Way want from me in terms of time?
A: King's Way wants YOU and GOD to determine that. We are seriously committed to the concept that every member in our church should be involved in a ministry of some type. You don't have to preach or even be very familiar with the Bible to help out. Involvement is one of the ways we support each other and God's work.
Q: I still have questions. How can I ask them?
A: Email our Pastor by clicking HERE. He will be more than happy to help you find the answers to any questions you might have.
